Where can I do my telehealth sessions if I can’t do them at home?
I have many clients who have their telehealth sessions in their car. It gives them time to either drive to a location and talk or to be home but away from all possible distractions. Phone sessions are also an option for those who prefer them.
Do we have to be married to have a session for couples?
No. We see many couples who are not married for therapy. We help couples to develop skills to maintain a healthy relationship dynamic.
Do my partner and I have to be in the same space for our sessions?
No, but the couple is strongly recommended to be in the same room while in session. It helps to create a sense of connectedness and teamwork. Being in the same room might not always be an option, so we consider that.

We work with young adults (21+) through adults.

Yes, we are! We accept all individuals and couples regardless of their sexual orientation.

What can we expect in a session at Balanced Grace Therapy?

You can always expect to be welcomed with a warm smile. We are genuinely happy to see you during each session. We approach people where they are in their journey and move at a pace that creates a safe space. We understand that therapy might be a new experience for many of our clients, so we lean toward a down-to-earth approach in our sessions.

You might laugh, you might smile, and walk out feeling relieved. Therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy and sad. It can become the best part of your week.

Do you offer snacks in your office?
Yes, we do! We offer water bottles, candy, and individually packed snacks for those coming into our office on an empty stomach or with a sweet tooth.
What, in your opinion, makes love last (couples)?
Good question. With our experience working with couples, having an amount of gratitude for that person in your life is essential. It can be easy to fall into society’s trap of always looking for the next best thing. Frequently, you have those qualities you’re looking for in your partner. It just might take time for those skills to develop and grow.
